Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Clackamas, OR
Position Type : 3-Month Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate : $21.00/hour
Shift: Friday - Tuesday, 6am - 2:30pm
What's the Job?
Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse
Inspect forklifts before use to ensure proper functioning
Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety
Maintain accurate records of inventory and material movements in ERP system
Coordinate with department supervisors to meet production schedules
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment, manufacturing preferred
1+ years of forklift operation experience, including sit-down and propane forklifts
Possession of a certified forklift operator license (preferred)
RF scanning experience (preferred)
