Do you have a passion for working with preschool-age children? Are you team-oriented and safety-conscious? If so, we want you on our team! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Preschool Programs.

are responsible for setting up indoor play equipment, supervising participants, providing customer service and cleanup of indoor play park. This position requires moving equipment (up to 50 lbs.) from a stage elevated height of 3.5ft to the gymnasium floor during set up and cleanup.

The hiring rate range for this position is $19.19 to $19.78 hourly, based on experience and internal equity. The full hourly range for this job classification is $19.19 to $21.63. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September.
Scheduling

The typical schedule for this position is Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Responsibilities

  • Independently run the indoor playpark area. Perform a general inspection of the equipment to ensure area is safe for use and report any damage or disrepair.
  • Set up, organize and monitor play; always ensure child safety.
  • Report all incidents/accidents to office staff, immediately, and complete necessary forms.
  • Turn off all equipment, i.e. lights, stereo, heating and air conditioning, etc. and properly secure the room at the end of work shift.
  • Greet the public; provide information and assistance regarding schedules, registration, program descriptions and other general information over the phone and in person.

Qualifications
  • Current First Aid and Infant/Child CPR Certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.

Working Conditions

Duties are primarily performed indoors. Requires standing and walking for long periods of time. Incumbent is typically exposed to noises and interruptions, including sudden loud noises, and multiple voices within a crowded environment. The flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention much or all of the time. Manual dexterity and coordination is required, making up more than 50% of the work period. Physical exertion may be to lift and carry small children and/or items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Leave

This is in addition to Sick leave and may be scheduled by employees for any reason! Effective February 15, 2026 the accrual rate for PTO will increase to one (1) hour earned for every 23 hours worked and will include seasonal employees!
  • The ability to accrue paid sick leave at a rate of one (1) hour earned for every 30 hours worked
  • Family Medical Leave eligibility for qualified family and medical related reasons
  • Paid compassionate leave is available to all part-time employees to grieve the loss of an immediate family member, to make arrangements (if necessary), and to attend memorial services. Employees are eligible for paid compassionate leave for up to the hours scheduled in their average work week.
