Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: As a maintenance technician you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining large paper machines as well as supporting with machine operation. Tasks include start-up and shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting and replacing sensors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on large paper machines
• Troubleshoots electrical issues
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs on equipment
• Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments
• Works with all plant personnel in a cooperative and professional manager
• Strictly adheres to all safety rules, policies and procedures
• General warehouse clean-up/work as required

Requirements:

• Must have minimum of 1 year experience in a maintenance position
• Machine operator experience a plus!
• Proficient in proper use of hand/power tools
• Must be a team player

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 3pm-11:30pm

• Needs to be flexible to train on days
• Flexibility to work Saturdays as needed

Location: Vancouver, WA

Pay: $19/hour

• Pay will increase based on performance after 3 months
