Role: Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist Contract
Pay Rate: $25$30/hour
Location: Remote

Overview

Reputed client is looking for a detail-oriented AP Specialist to support a fast-growing SaaS/AI organization on a contract basis. This role will focus on managing day-to-day accounts payable operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments in a high-volume, tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Manage payment runs (ACH, wire, checks)
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger
• Support month-end close and audit requests
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams in a remote setting

Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience (SaaS or tech preferred)
• Strong understanding of AP processes and controls
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
