Description:

Inventory Clerk

Coordinate and supervise the receiving, inventory control of all components, supplies, and materials within inventory locations, and manage the distribution/logistics of all components, supplies, and materials to required job kits, locations, and personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the inventory control processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the logistics and distribution of materials and components to various locations and personnel.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Operate a forklift to assist with material handling tasks.
  • Interface with accounting, sales, and engineering to ensure seamless operations.
  • Utilize a computer MRP system for data verification and input.
  • Assist the Safety Committee by learning MSDS instructions and following detailed guidelines.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with inventory control and material handling.
  • Proficiency in using forklifts and warehouse inventory management.
  • Understanding of semiconductor/high-tech industry practices.
  • Ability to operate a computer MRP system effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to cross-train in other departments.
  • Commitment to teamwork and effective communication.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

Work in a positive pressure HEPA filtered cleanroom environment with adherence to gowning procedures. The facility is ISO certified, with some noise and plastic chips present in the manufacturing area. Safety glasses and hearing protection are recommended outside designated safety corridors. Employees must comply with company safety practices and procedures and be capable of lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
