As a Grocery Services Associate, your role will ensure a clean and safe environment that encourages customers to return. Key Responsibilities

1. Efficiently bag groceries at checkout while prioritizing the safety of items to avoid damage.
2. Aim to bag at least five items per bag, using best practices for various bag types.
3. Assist customers by unloading their carts and offering to load their bags into their vehicles.
4. Inform customers about grocery promotions while engaging in basic shelf conditioning.
5. Return stray merchandise to shelves and collect shopping carts, ensuring they are brought back to designated areas.
6. Maintain cleanliness throughout the store by cleaning up spills, picking up litter, and tidying both indoor and outdoor areas.
7. Handle and set up seasonal merchandise while becoming familiar with the store layout.
8. Promote safety measures and alert management about any hazardous conditions or equipment needing repair.
9. Foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers by addressing their product inquiries.
10. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations alongside company policies.
11. Cooperate effectively in a dynamic environment and manage conflicts in a calm manner.
12. Provide assistance to all customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and seniors.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience is favorable but not mandatory
