POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Cleaning and Service Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant's interior and exterior.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain the landscape and exterior areas of the restaurant.
• Thoroughly clean and scrub curbs, building pads, and dumpster areas.
• Efficiently rack, wash, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Clear and clean tables promptly to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Transport trays of dirty dishes to the dish room and return clean dishware to service areas.
• Organize and clean the back of the house, including sweeping and scrubbing floors and removing garbage.
• Maintain the front of the house by sweeping, vacuuming, removing trash, and cleaning restrooms and the parking lot.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing walls, cleaning the walk-in cooler/freezer, and sanitizing the dumpster area.
• Store and rotate stock efficiently.
• Follow Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures diligently.
• Assist other service personnel as needed to ensure smooth operations.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Ensure all dining room tables are cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain adequate supplies of pots, pans, dishes, glassware, ice, and utensils throughout your shift.
• Keep both the front and back of the house clean, organized, and fully stocked to guarantee timely and excellent customer service.
• Ensure the restaurant exterior is clean, neat, and orderly.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Flexible, reliable, and a true team player.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, and lift.
• Sufficient mobility to navigate and operate within the work area.
• Willingness to work both inside and outside.
• Must adhere to health and safety requirements for cleanliness.
• Comply with all state, county, or municipal health regulations regarding food handling.

Minimum of 6 months experience preferred.
