MPD is currently searching for an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for recording, processing, and paying MPD's vendor expense transactions in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role monitors staff transactions and approval workflows within the NetSuite platform and provides general training and support to users as needed. The Accounts Payable Specialist also deposits incoming payments to the organization's bank accounts and has primary responsibility for administering MPD's client trust (IOLTA) accounts. The AP Specialist receives general supervision from the Controller.

This position pays $45,076 - $67,778. This is an in-office, full-time,non-exempt position. In addition to compensation, MPD also offers:

  • Medical (choice of PPO or HDHP), Dental and Vision
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Basic Life, STD, LTD and AD&D
  • 401(K) - MPD will contribute 6% of your annual salary with full vesting after the completion of 5 years of service
  • PTO - 24 hours upon hire and accrue monthly to 80 hours and increase to 120 hours starting at 24 months
  • 10 paid holidays + 2 personal equity days
  • 4 Mental Health Days per year
  • Sick Leave - 48 hours upon hire and accrues monthly after the completion of six months of employment
Position Qualifications
  • Three to five years' experience in an Payroll
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Certification in Payroll is a plus
Position Preferences
  • Working knowledge of ADP and NetSuite
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Strong mathematical and calculation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

  • Work is generally sedentary in an office setting
