A well-established steel fabrication company based in Sandy, OR, is seeking a dependable and hands-on Shipper/Receiver to join their team. This company has built a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and precision metal manufacturing, serving a variety of industrial and commercial clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing or fabrication shop experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
  
• Pick, pull, and stage orders for outgoing shipments
  
• Package large fabricated components securely for transport
  
• Build small and large custom crates using hand tools and nail guns
  
• Load flatbed trucks using forklifts and proper rigging techniques
  
• Review and prepare shipping documentation
  
• Perform general receiving and warehouse duties
  
• Occasionally operate a company vehicle to pick up materials off-site

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a steel shop, fabrication shop, or manufacturing environment preferred
  
• Forklift experience (flatbed loading experience is a plus)
  
• Comfortable building crates and working with hand and power tools
  
• Strong attention to detail with shipping paperwork
  
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  
• Ability to lift, move, and handle large materials safely
