Patient Monitoring Account Manager

Description:

Responsibilities

  • Follow an established sales process to convert competitive accounts to company technology.
  • Maintain and update all opportunities in CRM on at least a weekly basis.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and clinical evaluations.
  • Perform and support physical inventories as part of the sales process.
  • Deliver presentations highlighting product value and clinical impact.
  • Drive sales growth across all product lines within the assigned territory.
  • Build relationships with clinical thought leaders to promote improved care processes and patient outcomes, including wireless monitoring and advanced pulse oximetry solutions.
  • Negotiate and close sensor and supply agreements for both new and existing accounts.
  • Communicate and interpret clinical study data to support product adoption.
  • Collaborate with corporate accounts, IDN partners, and clinical specialists when team selling is appropriate.
  • Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence, and trend insights to marketing and leadership.
  • Continuously strengthen strategic and tactical selling skills and implement best practices.
  • Organize and lead educational seminars focused on monitoring solutions and patient safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate clinical evaluations to establish strong clinical champions within target accounts.
  • Maintain detailed account profiles, opportunity tracking, and accurate sales forecasts in CRM.
  • Conduct annual business reviews with existing customers.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of successful hospital-based sales experience selling innovative technology solutions to clinicians.
  • Proven success selling medical devices or emerging technologies to multiple hospital call points (e.g., Anesthesia, Respiratory, ICU, OR, Biomedical, Executive Leadership) and decision-makers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated success managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group presentation experience.
  • Ability to influence clinicians to adopt new technologies and patient care processes based on clinical evidence.
  • Experience conducting clinical evaluations, research initiatives, or focus groups.
  • Ability to effectively communicate value-based solutions.
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays; valid driver's license required.
