• Rate of pay: $34-37 per hour
• $500 sign on bonus after 90 days
• $1.50 differential swing shift
• $1.75 differential grave shift
• Full benefits at 30 days, weekly paycheck and Union protection at 90 days

Summary: Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as, Electric Motors, Hydraulic Pumps / Valves, Pneumatic / Hydraulic cylinders, Cranes, Automatic Saws, Conveyor / Belt systems and related repair equipment such as Welders, Oxy-Fuel Torches, Drill Presses, Machine Tools, Power Tools and a full range of Hand Tool

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical troubleshooting and repair of machinery
• Repairs and replaces defective parts, lubricates and cleans parts
• Performs and lockout/tagout procedures according to company policy
• Installs and assists with new and replacement equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance with regular inspections
• Other duties as assigned

Environment/Health/Safety/Housekeeping

• Understands that performing job tasks in a safe manner is the highest priority
• Has read and understands department JSA's
• Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines and wears appropriate PPE when required
• Fills out "near miss" paperwork on any unsafe condition or action and reports any unsafe condition or act immediately to supervisor or EHS department
• Responsible for housekeeping and 5S in his or her respective areas of work or areas as directed by the department supervisor
• Cooperates and contributes to the creation of a safe, secure and healthy working environment and to the achievement of the company's environmental obligations and goals

What will make you successful?

• Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English
• Must have basic math skills, use a calculator and read a tape measure
• Must have ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Must be willing to work a night shift- 6pm - 6am 4 nights a week.
• Must have troubleshooting ability with complex manufacturing machinery including hydraulics, pneumatics, and ability to read mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
• Must be able to disassemble and reassemble components in the factory.
• Must have experiences, with bearings, gear boxes, gears and lubrication.
• Welding, cutting and fabrications skills
• Familiar with electrical and PLC equipment a plus
• Must be able to work cohesively in a team environment
