Your Role:

In the role of Delivery Service Specialist, you will step in for colleagues during vacations and absences at least 50% of the time. Your key responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service, resolving issues promptly, and managing product returns as necessary. You will safely transport office supplies along your designated route, and may assist in loading the delivery vehicle. You will organize and prepare products efficiently for delivery while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and best practices.

Your Contribution:

• Drive safely and courteously, responding to various road conditions.
• Make informed decisions regarding driving, safety, and customer interactions.
• Utilize software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, to enhance productivity.
• Employ technology such as GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices.
• Commit to your personal growth and professional development.
• Share innovative ideas to boost operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships through an inclusive approach with coworkers and customers.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and conduct pre-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Essential Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license with a safe driving record acceptable to the company.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening, in accordance with legal standards.
• Capability to obtain a 6-month DOT medical card for this position.
• Basic proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work beyond scheduled hours based on business needs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and push or pull items weighing up to 400 lbs with assistance.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of driving experience with a 16ft or longer truck.
• Experience with high-volume or small package deliveries.
