Under general supervision, the position requires operating a full-size school bus in transporting children to and from schools, field and sports trips, and otherwise as assigned. Employees in this class are responsible for following an assigned route and schedule in the safe and efficient operation of a school bus. Employees in this position will *at all times* operate their assigned school bus obeying all applicable federal, state, and local traffic laws, and enforcing the Portland Public Schools Student Bus Conduct Code. Employees in this position will also be responsible for inspecting, performing minor maintenance on, and cleaning their assigned vehicle.

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
