The Police Department is currently recruiting for a full-time Domestic Violence Program Assistant. This limited duration position is grant funded through December 31, 2026. The person in this position performs a variety of specialty police support duties including crisis intervention and victim advocacy services The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in providing service to victims of domestic violence and sexual violence crimes. Requirements include completion of the Oregon State Victims Assistance Academy (or equivalent) and some experience providing administrative support within an office environment. The principal function of an employee in this class performs a variety of specialty police support duties including crisis intervention and victim advocacy services.
