Technical knowledge of equipment and procedures are kept current. Applies knowledge to daily activities for age group for which services are being provided. (Adult, Geriatric, Pediatric, Neonatal). Functions independently and competently. Operates Cardiac Stress Testing equipment with competency and accuracy, providing good quality data. Performs nuclear medicine and pharmacological stress testing assuring quality data. Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in the operation of the cardiology data system. Performs routine and emergency EKG and Signal Average ECG's according to procedure. Downloads, collates, prepares for physician interpretation; transcribes physician interpretations into database system, and processes confirmed reports. Demonstrates basic understanding of EKG configuration and rhythm recognition. At LEH, may need demonstrated knowledge and expertise in bedside pulmonary function testing to include pre and post bronchodilator spirometry.
