Express is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Driver to join our client's production team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer, manually unloading products using a hand truck or pallet jack, and providing exceptional customer service during deliveries. This position requires adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review driver itinerary, check route and account numbers for deliveries, and verify loaded products against customer invoices.
• Safely drive and deliver customer orders, meeting scheduled times and productivity goals.
• Unload products using a hand truck or pallet jack, ensuring delivery accuracy and obtaining customer signatures.
• Perform safety checks on trucks and trailers, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete required DOT logs.
• Attend company meetings and adhere to all safety practices and company policies.
• May be required to perform backhaul duties, including picking up products from vendors.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience with a valid CDL Class A license.
• Must be DOT qualified and able to pass a DOT physical and controlled substance screening test.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Must be forklift certified (stand-up) and able to perform all job functions safely.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry weights ranging from 1-100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, drive, sit, and perform activities such as pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, and kneeling as required.

Additional Requirements:

• No more than two traffic violations in the past two years, with no DUI convictions within the past three years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
• Adherence to all company safety practices and policies is mandatory.
