Join our team as a Class A Truck Driver, where you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to a variety of stores and customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a Class A truck to deliver goods to customers and stores.
• Adhere to all safety standards at the federal, state, corporate, and departmental levels.
• Inspect the truck for any defects before, during, and after trips, and submit a report on the truck's condition.
• Check refrigeration trailers for any malfunctions.
• Weigh loads and ensure proper distribution of weight.
• Unload merchandise at customer locations effectively.
• Pick up goods from vendor locations and verify products and quantities loaded.
• Demonstrate a flexible schedule, being available to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Complete essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Perform basic math operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various measurement units.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to travel independently.
• Follow instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagram form.
• Handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Commit to providing excellent customer service that makes all customers feel valued.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals effectively.
• Write routine reports and correspondence as necessary.
• Present information confidently in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Possess a valid Commercial Class A CDL driver's license.
• Meet all Federal Department of Transportation physical requirements for a Class A CDL driver.
• Familiarity with trucking terminologies and procedures.
• Ability to back 53' trailers safely into docking areas.
• Operate over-the-road tractors, refrigeration units, dollies, and both manual and electric pallet jacks proficiently.
• One year of active driving experience, including doubles experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Previous Experience:

• One year of Tractor/Trailer driving experience.
