Job Title Bon Appetit: Front of House, Pilot House (Server, Cashier, Barista) Department Bon Appetit Terms and Hours Varying hours, 7:30 AM to 12AM Job Category Student Employment Hourly Wage Portland Metro Minimum Wage ($16.30) Job SummaryThis part time position will handle Front of the House duties at the Pilot House during the Fall and Spring semesters. May be required to execute the duties at other locations on campus as needed. Position reports to a Bon Appetit Supervisor.Core Duties* Follow all Bon Appetit cash handling standards* Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee and some cold drinks following drink recipes as specified by current vendor.* Ensure that all retail and display items at their station are meeting the pre-established Great Expectations display standards.* Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner; resolves customer concerns.* Greet customers, smile and process sales properly.* Keep cashier area and general cafe clean, utilizing proper cleaning products and sanitation standards.* Responsible for inputting sales into cash register - cash, credit card, and ID card transactions.
