At CODA, Inc., we believe recovery begins the moment someone reaches out for help. As an Admissions Specialist 2, you will create a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate admissions experience-ensuring patients access treatment quickly and without barriers.

If you are skilled in assessment, crisis management, and patient engagement-and want your work to make a real difference-this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments
  • Evaluate ASAM level of care and placement recommendations
  • Screen for co-occurring disorders and risk of harm
  • Facilitate routine and urgent admissions
  • Complete intake paperwork, open patient episodes in EMR
  • Collect UAs and obtain Releases of Information
  • Verify insurance and financial eligibility
  • Schedule new patient intakes within 24 hours of contact
  • Use Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care approaches
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and community partners
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance

What You Bring:
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar or related role
  • CADC-1 certification
  • Strong skills in Motivational Interviewing, ASAM assessment, and evidence-based practices
  • Ability to manage crisis situations and high-risk/high-need patients
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Valid Oregon or Washington Driver's License
