Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing radiographic and CT technologies to secure precise diagnostic images for accurate interpretation
- Working closely with radiologists and the broader healthcare team to foster reliable diagnoses
- Ensuring optimal patient positioning and equipment calibration for superior imaging quality
- Upholding stringent radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff
- Maintaining comprehensive records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance documents
- Delivering compassionate and reassuring care to patients throughout their imaging experience
- Helping to cultivate a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is an additional asset
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program is a must
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Valid BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment
- Expertise in diagnostic imaging protocols and radiation safety standards
- Exceptional communication skills, connecting effectively with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare providers
- Adept at working in dynamic environments and efficiently adapting to evolving demands
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to accountability
- Comfortable with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software technologies
