The Loss Prevention Department at Hobby Lobby is actively seeking a committed Security and Loss Prevention Specialist to enhance the safety protocols of our stores.

We're looking for individuals with experience in loss prevention, security, law enforcement, or military service!

In this role, you will be crucial in safeguarding our customers, employees, and property. Your duties will include regular store patrols, maintaining a strong presence to deter potential issues, responding to security incidents, enforcing company guidelines, and offering exceptional customer service.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Starting hourly wage: $23.00 - $24.00

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers with a friendly attitude.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Build solid relationships with store management, personnel, customers, and local law enforcement.
• Effectively handle stressful and unexpected situations with sound judgment.
• Address conflict and safety issues promptly.
• Conduct regular patrols within the store premises.
• Work independently while remaining a cooperative team player.

Job Description - Requirements

Requirements:

• At least two years of prior experience in loss prevention, security, law enforcement, or military service.
• A motor vehicle record check is required.
• Ability to travel independently within the local area.
• A background check is required.
• The ability to spend up to 100% of working hours standing or walking.
• Strong communication skills are a must.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills are essential.
• Proficient in identifying suspicious behaviors.
