Join our dynamic team as a Class A Truck Driver, where your primary responsibility will be to safely transport goods to a wide range of stores and customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a Class A truck to deliver goods to various customer locations and stores.
• Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and standards at federal, state, corporate, and departmental levels.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the truck before, during, and after journeys, reporting any defects.
• Check refrigeration trailers to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Weigh loads and ensure proper weight distribution for safe transport.
• Efficiently unload merchandise at customer locations.
• Pick up goods from vendor locations, verifying products and quantities loaded.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule, with availability for various shifts, including weekends.
• Fulfill essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Perform basic math operations to assist in weight distribution and loading processes.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to travel independently and manage routes effectively.
• Effectively follow written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Handle issues involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service, ensuring all customers feel valued.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals with clarity.
• Write routine reports and correspondence as required.
• Present information confidently in individual and small group settings.
• Possess a valid Commercial Class A CDL driver's license.
• Meet all Federal Department of Transportation physical requirements for Class A CDL drivers.
• Familiarity with trucking terminology and operational procedures.
• Ability to proficiently back 53' trailers into docking areas.
• Comfortably operate over-the-road tractors, refrigeration units, dollies, and both manual and electric pallet jacks.
• One year of active driving experience, including doubles, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Preferred Previous Experience:

• One year of Tractor/Trailer driving experience.
