Material Handler Forklift

We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our team. The role involves working in a clean warehouse environment, with initial training taking place in Tualatin. This position offers a back-half day shift schedule in Wilsonville from 6am to 6:30pm, every other Wednesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse work related to the receipt, shipment, storage, or distribution of products.
• Load, unload, move, or store products according to delivery or routing documents or supervisor instructions.
• Perform partial pallet distribution as needed.
• Operate gas or electric powered forklifts to move products safely.
• Load finished products into trailers.
• Unload and load production materials into trailers.
• Manage warehouse inventory and flow.
• Stage materials for production.
• Perform warehouse sanitation.
• Package and move recycling and production waste.
• Communicate with team members and production through RedZone chat.
• Keep accurate and neatly written documentation.
• Rotate through all production forklift positions.
• Operate and troubleshoot all robot palletizers on the Tualatin campus.
• Always follow GMP and safety regulations.
• Use SAP and RF Scanner for receiving materials and loading finished goods.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of warehouse/material handling experience.
• Competency in English to pass Safety Class.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Decision-making skills and independent judgment.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to push up to 500 pounds with a pallet jack, pull up to 500 pounds with a pallet jack, and lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds frequently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with material handling and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, picking, packing, and loading.
• Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of SAP systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
