Product Graphic Designer:
Our client is seeking a highly creative and trend-forward Product Graphic Designer to bring compelling visual narratives to life across apparel collections. This individual thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, combining strong technical design skills with a sharp eye for emerging trends in sportswear and streetwear. The ideal candidate is both conceptual and execution-focused, capable of translating ideas into impactful, consumer-driven designs.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Product Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end creation of graphic concepts for seasonal apparel collections across multiple categories, from initial idea through final execution.
- Develop original graphics, prints, patterns, and color applications that align with trend insights and consumer preferences.
- Translate market research and consumer insights into cohesive visual storytelling and design narratives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, development, and design teams to ensure alignment on vision, feasibility, and execution.
- Create and present design concepts, including polished presentation materials, to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Support prototype development by communicating design intent, reviewing samples, and refining details as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output and meeting deadlines.
Product Graphic Designer Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, apparel design, or a related product-focused creative field.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fashion design, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of current and emerging trends within sportswear and streetwear markets.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with experience in 3D rendering tools.
- Demonstrated expertise across graphic design fundamentals including illustration, typography, print and pattern creation, and color theory.
- Ability to sketch, visualize, and translate concepts into production-ready designs.
- Experience working with apparel construction, technical design processes, and schematic or tech pack development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative direction and design intent.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant product and graphic design work is required.
