Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Laser Operator role in Clackamas, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.
• Adjust machine settings, including speed, power, and focus, to optimize performance and quality.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning lenses, checking alignment, and replacing consumables.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments or report concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Accurately document production data, material usage, and machine performance.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.
• Prior experience operating CNC laser or similar fabrication equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC programming or nesting software is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
