HR/legal Admin Assistant

Description:

Professional opportunity supporting HR & Legal leadership at a well-known global food manufacturer organization. This role provides administrative and compliance support to both the Human Resources and Legal teams.

Pay: 60,000-80,000 DOE

Location: Forest Grove, OR

Schedule: Monday-Friday, onsite

JOB DETAILS

  • Assist with new hire onboarding and employment paperwork
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Track training, certifications, and required documentation
  • Support benefits enrollment and employee communications
  • Assist with payroll and timekeeping coordination as needed
  • Prepare and organize incident reports, workers' compensation files, and employment correspondence
  • Maintain OSHA, wage & hour, and employment compliance documentation
  • Help coordinate audit responses, claims, or legal requests
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and professional correspondence
  • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative, HR, or legal support experience preferred
  • Experience in a law office and/or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, or document management systems preferred

SCHEDULE:

  • Full-time position
  • Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

PAY:

  • 60,000-80,000/yr
  • (DOE – Depending on Experience)
