Schedule: 10am-7pm M-F

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Closer to join the warehouse team for a renowned flooring company in NE Portland. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

Arrival

• Daily cycle counts, to be done before noon
• Receive deliveries making sure orders are accurate
• Return processing and non-stock
• Bathroom cleaning
• Sample cutting and stocking (Full count bi-weekly)
• Deliveries if required
• Organize pad bins and bails

• Assign material and make cuts/pulls
• Cut all cove base and pull MDF/Base Shoe
• Ensure bailer has plenty of room for next days load out

• Check all materials against next day's schedule - ensure all tags are visible
• Empty garbage's in warehouse, bathrooms, etc.
• Make sure cut table is blown clean and warehouse is clean
• Pull in vehicles and lock up warehouse
• Make sure dumpsters are closed up, outhouse is locked up
• Arm alarm if last one out
• Close and lock gates

• Proven experience in warehouse operations is required
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Demonstrated dependability
• Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems
• Ability to perform medium lifting and manage physical demands associated with materials handling.
