Precision Castparts Corp - - Responsibilities: Straighten castings using manual tools, profile templates and power presses; preheats castings before placing in press; rounds parts with power or manual tools; Straightens castings using the hot straightening process; fixtures parts for heat treat (TBO only); Measures and inspects castings to verify appropriate tolerances and identify discrepant tolerances; checks tech cards and CMM dimensional reports; Creates custom press blocks and tools as needed; Works closely with Dimensional Inspectors and Engineering personnel to resolve dimensional problems
