Material Handler

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $18/hr - $18.50/hr.

Shifts: 12 hour shifts - Days and Nights

Job Description:

We are seeking motivated Material Handlers to join our team. You will be responsible for performing functions associated with all material handling of boxes. Material Tech's scope includes operating material handling equipment in a ESD environment. Responsibilities include standard processing and minimal problem-solving, as well as actual processing of state-of-the-art device. You will be required to participate in safety expectations and culture. Assignments are routine and repetitive in nature with work performed in narrowly defined parameters. Limited judgment will be required to resolve standard problems as you will receive detailed instructions for all work. Training others with documented instruction may be required at a later time to support the business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a golf cart and transporting boxes between different buildings
• Operating material handling equipment in a ESD environment
• A valid driver's license is required
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations while working in the factory.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift loads up to 50 lbs.
• Stand or sit for up to 9 hours within a shift.
• Drive a golf cart
• Work on a compressed work week schedule with 12-hour shifts alternating between three and four days per week.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (to be completed by employment start date).
• A valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher education after High school
• Driving experience

Additional Information:

• This position is entry-level, with compensation adjusted accordingly.
