Fisher Investments Corporate Finance Department works to seamlessly support the firm's payroll process. Our dedicated Payroll team calculates employee payments and oversees payment of employees and regulators. As a Payroll Business Analyst, you will support core payroll activities through effective assessment and project management application.
The Opportunity:
The Payroll Business Analyst plays an essential role in partnering with critical departments, like our Technology department. You will focus on process improvements and documentation. You will work closely with our internal partners and key leaders as you navigate through different projects. As we grow our business, you will help scale our current systems and processes to support the business and work with our internal stakeholder network. You will report directly to the AVP Payroll in Corporate Finance.
The Day-to-Day:
Develop and document processes and procedures to support team department activities and supporting similar developments as applicable
Manage all phases of individual projects to ensure they are completed by their deadlines
Use project management skills, and technical knowledge, to assess and resolve project-related obstacles
Assess incoming projects' requirements from a business and systems standpoint and provide recommendations for improvement
Coordinate reporting for daily operations and projects to support management
Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, problems, and propose solutions
Provide a high level of communication support to all company partners and elevate issues proactively
Support Payroll team in reviewing and testing new product features of existing technology to ensure quality assurance standards
General system troubleshooting and maintenance in UKG Workforce Management with consulting support
Your Qualifications:
Degree in Information Technology, or other relevant field; or equivalent combination of education/experience
3+ years of applicable Business Analysis experience
3+ years of experience with UKG Workforce Management
Experience with project management tools, like Jira.
Compensation:
$75,000 - $105,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
