Accountant

LHH is seeking an accountant for a temporary to hire position with a construction company in the Portland, OR area. The team is willing to train someone on the tasks so if you only have an internship or a few months of accounting experience, you could still be considered. The main qualifications are a bachelor's degree and ability to navigate between different software systems quickly. Your main tasks will be reconciliations, researching variances, and adjusting journal entries. The team is looking for someone to join after a short interview process so apply now if you are interested.

Responsibilities:

• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Researching and analyzing financial variances to identify discrepancies
• Adjusting journal entries to correct errors and update financial records
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Using a variety of accounting software systems proficiently

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• At least three months of accounting work experience
• High attention to detail
• Ability to navigate through technology with ease
• Professional communication skills

Employment Details:

• Temporary to hire
• Fully in office in Portland, OR
• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
