Description
• Preparation of overseas shipments
• Maintain in-person working hours each weekday starting 7:00 AM and ending after 8 hours of work. The daily shift may be started earlier than 7:00 AM, but not later.
• Keep the powertrain parts area neat and orderly.
• Allocation of parts for powertrain repairs based off work order requirements
• Entering and maintaining inventory parts, units of measure
• Investigating inventory shortages and discrepancies
• Tool Crib – Will be responsible for general tools used by Actalent Teams
• Responsible for closing work orders and updating Daimler internal parts tracking software (ENLAV and SAP system)
• Training – Continue to gain knowledge of powertrain hardware and inventory control practices
• Maintain accurate parts inventory as parts are added to stock and installed on and removed from test trucks.
• Strong communication skills are needed to be successful as well as the ability to collaborate and work well with others.
• Responsible for creating move orders for parts removed from trucks and for new parts needing to be shipped to Detroit or other Detroit locations in Portland.
• Responsible for the loading and unloading of trailer that transports parts and large components between Portland and Detroit approximately every two weeks.
• Manage the storage of all parts in the building.
• Pull parts in preparation for upcoming scheduled work to make technicians' work as efficient as possible.
• Support a fleet of prototype heavy-duty diesel and electric trucks, focusing on the powertrain (engine, exhaust after-treatment, transmission, axles, etc.). These prototype vehicles drive around Oregon 24-7 and come into the facility 2 times a day for driver shift change, any necessary maintenance, and for the Technicians to install and remove hardware from the trucks per the Engineers' instructions. Making sure all necessary parts are on hand or ordered as quickly as possible and made ready for the technicians to use is a vital role in the Reliability Growth testing department.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Stand-up forklift experience, proficiency, and certification
• Must be able to work 8 hours a day from 7 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday on all non-holidays.
• Preference to have experience with creating Haz Mat BoL paperwork for large HV vehicle batteries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook email.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
