Currently we are seeking a Website Production Assistant, to join our Web Team onsite in our Vancouver offices.
The Website Production Assistant supports the Web Team by implementing, as directed, website content accurately and on schedule across all sites. The role includes detailed, repetitive CMS (Magento) data entry and entry-level content block production using approved assets and established design models.
A successful Website Production Assistant is meticulously organized, has acute attention to detail, excels with technology, and is comfortable working from clear direction and creative briefs. Highly flexible and able to shift priorities with the needs of the team, the Website Production Assistant upholds high standards for quality and accuracy and is very comfortable seeking clarification on directions when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Logistics
- Enter translated product information and other content into the CMS across 20+ regions and languages.
- Upload and accurately tag images for products.
- Using standard guidelines, enrich site pages and content with appropriate metadata, tags, and links.
- When instructed by the Web Team, enables and disables products, content, and pages.
- Organize and optimize online merchandising to best support sales and branch objectives.
- Support other related tasks as assigned.
Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution
- Audit websites for information accuracy and completion; suggest improvements.
- Monitor systems and sites for bugs and works with Website Manager to resolve website related issues.
- Review and test functionality against requirements prior to new features being published.
Content Design
- Use creative briefs and established models to design content blocks within the CMS for ongoing needs such as homepage banners and product feature marketing.
- Basic image editing and preparation for web use, including cropping, resizing, and making other simple adjustments using established brand guidelines.
- Lead with a mobile-first approach in all designs, follow accessibility guidelines, and engage in review process with stakeholders.
- Problem-solve minor content block issues across websites.
- Update and implement visual content as needed, such as adding new award logos to existing designs.
- Support other related tasks as assigned.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate closely with all Web Team members to achieve timely results.
- Benchmark competitor shopping experiences and stay current with ecommerce, market, and industry trends.
- Participate in research for development of clear briefs and user requirements for new initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective, cooperative, and collaborative working relationships with cross-functional local and international teams.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Education
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience supporting ecommerce/merchandising operations, website content production, digital production, or similar.
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Comfort executing visual or image-based content from simple creative briefs, templates, or established design systems.
- Basic image editing and preparation for web use, including cropping, resizing, and making other simple adjustments using established brand guidelines.
- Ability to follow documented processes for highly detailed and repetitive content entry and updates.
- Teachable with the ability to learn basic web accessibility requirements and support implementation in day-to-day work.
- Highly organized with consistent and meticulous attention to detail.
- Impeccable time-management skills and high level of flexibility able to shift priorities as needed.
- Exceptional communication skills; adept at discussing technical concepts and processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to be tactful with diverse teams, situations, and ideas
Technology
Experience with:
- CMS platforms (Magento preferred) and/or complex databases,
- performing structured content updates, or data entry.
Comfortable working in:
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adobe programs.
Experience with the following (or similar), is a plus:
- Basic knowledge of HTML.
- Digital Asset Management systems.
- Project Management systems (Wrike preferred).
- Payroll/timecard systems (Paycom preferred).
- Ability to quickly and proficiently learn new software with ease.
Other
- Employees who are in a Non-Exempt position must accurately complete, obtain approval from their manager, and timely submit a timecard in the form provided by the Company as it coincides with the Company's bi-weekly payroll schedule.
As business needs warrant:
- Domestic travel less than 10%
- Ability to work extended hours may, on occasion, include nights and weekends.
Washington State Pay Transparency Act
- The hourly pay range for this role is $25 to $31 an hour.
- The target compensation range and the actual salary are determined by several factors, including specific skills, competencies, years of experience, geographic location, and education, as outlined in the job description.
