MPD is currently searching for a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll
Specialist is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for
MPD's 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now, including preparing
all required payroll and tax reports. Duties include reviewing
timesheets for completeness and proper approval, preparing the
payroll register for Controller review, uploading payroll
information into NetSuite ERP, coding and entering bills for
employee benefits, and generating final paychecks in accordance
with State of Oregon requirements. The Payroll Specialist also
produces payroll reports for management and confirms approval for
overtime or paid time off. This position regularly
communicates with employees, answering questions and notifying
of any discrepancies in pay. The Payroll Specialist receives
general supervision from the Controller.
This position pays $21.67/hr - $34.54/hr. This is an in-office, full-time, non-exempt position. In addition to compensation, MPD also offers:
