Description:

Worksource Oregon is partnering with a premier wedding design and rental company who has been servicing the Portland Metro area for over 40 years. Their dedicated team of designers, fabricators, and installers are dedicated to ensuring a memorable and flawless customer experience.

JOB DUTIES

  • Help coordinate the dispatch of crews, equipment, and service vehicles based on customer requests and project requirements

  • Evaluate and improve dispatch procedures for operational efficiency

  • Relay work orders and communications between field crews, sales staff, and customers

  • Prepare documentation for event deliveries and pickups

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and contract paperwork

  • Advise crews of potential road hazards, traffic, dress code, PPE, and weather conditions

  • Run reservation reports to be able to plan resources for high volume weeks

  • Uphold and exemplify WCEP values in all interactions

  • Drive to event site occasionally to bring out forgotten or rushed items

REQUIREMENTS

  • HSD/GED

  • 18+ years old

  • Valid Oregon or Washington driver's license and clean motor vehicle record

  • 2 years of experience in scheduling, event management or a related role

  • Fast and accurate data entry, proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas)

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Effective communicator with excellent listening skills as well as proper phone etiquette

  • Dependable, with sound judgment and strong analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Work under pressure and collaborate with cross-departmental team members

  • This employer will perform a drug and background screen
