Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days on-site / 2 remote after training period

Salary: $65,000-$96,000

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm to identify a Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with attorneys and support staff.


The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and litigation support throughout all phases of the litigation process. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize case files from case inception through trial, arbitration, or mediation
  • Docket and calendar litigation deadlines in accordance with applicable court rules and procedures
  • Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up with attorneys to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Prepare and coordinate scheduling for meetings, hearings, depositions, and client appointments
  • Coordinate logistics related to scheduled matters, including preparing notices, confirming details, reserving conference rooms, and arranging court reporters
  • Open new matters and coordinate conflict checks while maintaining both electronic and physical case files
  • Prepare, file, and serve litigation documents in state and federal courts
  • Coordinate service of pleadings and manage related documentation and communications
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure files remain organized and up to date


Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of litigation legal assistant or practice assistant experience
  • Knowledge of Oregon and Washington court filing procedures and rules
  • Experience docketing litigation deadlines and managing attorney calendars
  • Strong proofreading, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
