Convenience Store Retail Position

Responsible for performing various retail functions within the convenience store, including cashier duties, stocking inventory, general cleaning, and assisting with food service preparation. Adheres to company policies regarding sanitation, safety, and food handling to ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.

Wage: $17.75 - $18.75

Work Status: Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with fuel purchases
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions accurately
• Monitor fuel levels and arrange for refills as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Complete daily cash reports and assist with inventory management
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures

Requirements

• One year of cash-handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Oregon Food Handler's Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to handle a complex variety of tasks simultaneously while maintaining professional composure and positive approach.
• Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and count change to customers.
