A company is looking for a Variant Scientist II to join their clinical genomics team remotely.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform variant interpretation and generate clinical reports using an in-house genetic evidence systemAnalyze and interpret clinical and genetic information from various sourcesDevelop and curate genetic content for a range of genetic disordersRequired QualificationsPh.D. in Life Sciences, Genetics, or related field with variant interpretation experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experienceExperience in a CLIA diagnostic laboratory is preferredExperience with next-generation sequencing and genetic variant curationKnowledge of advanced methods of copy number detection and interpretationExperience in areas such as oncology, cardiology, or pediatric diagnostics is advantageous
