Sales Operations Analyst:
Our client is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to play a key role in supporting and scaling a growing sales function within a technology-focused services environment. This position will partner closely with senior leadership to streamline day-to-day sales operations, improve process consistency, and help formalize sales structure, compensation models, and go-to-market execution. This is an evolving role that will begin with a strong operational and administrative focus, with the opportunity to expand into more client-facing and revenue-generating responsibilities over time.
This role is a hybrid model in Vancouver, Washington.
Sales Operations Analyst Responsibilities:
- Support the development, documentation, and ongoing refinement of sales processes, workflows, and operational structure.
- Maintain CRM accuracy, including pipeline tracking, opportunity management, forecasting inputs, and reporting.
- Partner with leadership to help design and administer sales compensation frameworks, including commission structures and tracking mechanisms.
- Coordinate sales activities such as proposal preparation, contract routing, meeting support, and follow-up tracking.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Assist with partner-related sales efforts, ensuring accurate documentation and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and organize key sales data including bookings, pricing inputs, renewals, and deal documentation.
- Identify process gaps and recommend scalable improvements to enhance efficiency and visibility across the sales lifecycle.
- Support cross-functional collaboration between sales, finance, operations, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and execution.
- Gradually take on more direct sales support and client interaction responsibilities as the role evolves.
Sales Operations Analyst Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or business development within a commissioned sales environment.
- Experience supporting or administering sales compensation plans, commission tracking, or incentive structures.
- Background in technology consulting, professional services, SaaS, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and pipeline management best practices.
- Advanced organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential compensation and sales data with professionalism.
- Experience supporting both services-based and partner-driven sales models is highly valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different personalities and leadership styles.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and grow into expanded responsibilities over time.
