Warehouse Associate
Our client is locally owned and operated and has grown into a regional and national industrial equipment supplier. They provide a combination of value-added technical services, engineering, consultation, and quality products to a variety of markets. They provide mission-critical equipment to a wide variety of industries.
Summary
Receiving shipments, palletizing inventory, kitting build and repair parts, warehouse maintenance, order pulling, packing, and shipping. Warehouse Associates are expected to maintain a high level of productivity and promote a safe work atmosphere.
Duties
Assemble repair part and manufacturing kits Unload palletized and floor loaded freight Palletize and shrink wrap orders in safe, stable configurations Put away palletized or hand stacked inventory in proper locations Manual cycle counts of inventory and ad hoc stock checks as directed Accurately pull, pack, and ship orders while adhering to guidelines Gather shipment information (. pallet count, carton count, weight) and create shipment documentation (. Bill of Lading) Ability to complete simple computer tasks in shipping software Ability to read small print paper documents of inventory Operate warehouse equipment as needed including:
Forklifts (prior experience required) Dock plates/ramps Manual pallet jacks, hand trucks and push carts
Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs Work well independently/self-starter and with a team safely. Excellent communication skills & attention to detail Basic math skills Speaking, reading, writing in English 1+ year(s) experience in a warehouse, kitting, packaging, shipping Experience driving a forklift
Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hr
