The primary responsibility of this position is food preparation for the clientele of the residential treatment facility.What you will do:* Prepare ingredients by slicing, cutting, chopping, stirring, and mixing according to recipes.* Cook meals by reviewing recipes, combining ingredients, adding seasonings, and verifying taste.* Prepare hot meals by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, or broiling, and assemble cold ingredients.* Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintain temperature logs, and ensure proper dating, labeling, and rotation of food.* Manage daily food supply inventory, ordering materials as needed, and assist with receiving deliveries* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, food storage, and work areas; complete dishwashing and pot washing as needed.* Serve and/or supervise service of meals to clients in cafeteria.
