Role Description

This is a remote role as independent contractor. The Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and refining written content to ensure clarity, intention, and balance. Additional tasks include use of GitHub and research of scientific topics as context. Maintaining high editorial standards and attention to detail are critical to the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Editing, Proofreading, and Quality Assurance to ensure well-polished content.
• Strong skills in Content Strategy and Management to guide projects from concept to execution.
• Excellent Written Communication and Copywriting abilities to refine content narratives.
• Experience with Digital Tools, including content management systems (CMS) and GitHub.
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and the capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with audience engagement techniques and editorial trends is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is helpful.
