Job Summary

The Major Gift Officer will partner with inspiring academic and institutional leaders that best align with the candidate's skills, values and fundraising approach to secure philanthropic support that makes a tangible difference in students' lives and the broader community.
The Major Gift Officer is responsible for securing significant philanthropic support by managing a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects. This role collaborates closely with the Assistant Vice President of Advancement to execute individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies aligned with campaign priorities and broader institutional goals. Working independently and in close partnership with academic leaders, campus partners and advancement leadership, the Major Gift Officer builds long-term donor relationships that result in sustained, impactful giving. This role reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Advancement.
