Forklift Operator

Job Duties

Operate a sit-down forklift (moving long, heavy steel materials up to 40 ft) Load and unload trucks and stage material in the yard and facility Inspect, bag, and prepare hardware for outgoing orders Perform basic quality checks and verify parts against paperwork Train into welding and basic equipment repair over time

Schedule

Monday Friday Day Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Mandatory overtime may be required depending on daily truck schedules

Requirements

Experience operating a sit-down forklift (heavy materials experience a plus) Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in an outdoor covered environment Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Willingness to learn new skills, including welding

Pay

$20.00 $22.00/hour DOE

Location

Vancouver, WA Fruit Valley area (Not accessible by public transportation)
