Location: Dental Clinic - 12750 SE Stark St., Portland, OR 97233
Schedule: This is an in-person position, Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm with an hour lunch.

Position Overview:
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations and workflow in the front office area in accordance with NARA's health and wellness objectives for patients and families. To ensure that the provision of dental health services takes place in a professional, non-biased environment and is accomplished efficiently and respectfully.
What you will do:
We would like to hear from people that have:
Either a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in dental administration or healthcare settings required.
Proficiency with Dentrix or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Familiarity with Oregon Health Plan programs and Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs).
Exceptional knowledge of word processing, computer skills and data entry
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills; high accuracy and ability to prioritize effectively.
Ability to complete tasks and deadlines in a timely manner
Ability to approach and interact with others in a warm, friendly, and supportive manner, creating a climate of trust, consideration, and mutual respect.
Completion of a certified Dental Assistant program from an accredited trade or training school preferred.
Dental Assistant certification and radiology proficiency certification preferred.
Progressive experience in dental office roles, including working with multiple dentists or providers in a clinical setting preferred.
Experience in public health or serving underserved populations preferred.
Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community is considered a plus.
Must pass a pre-employment or for cause drug tests.
Must pass criminal background and DMV checks.

Benefits: Employees working 20 hours, or more are eligible for benefits. Benefits are effective from the 1st of the month following the date of hire.
