Pay Rate: from $35.00 to $40.39/hour

Location: Tualatin, OR (On-site)

Schedule: 40 hours/week

What you'll do

  • Perform incoming inspections using advanced precision tools (CMM – Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Hexagon, optical comparators, micrometers, and more)
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings with strong knowledge of GD&T (ANSI standards)
  • Manage and prioritize inspection workloads, including urgent production needs
  • Conduct supplier site inspections and calibration audits
  • Identify and document non-conforming materials; collaborate cross-functionally for resolution
  • Support engineering teams by analyzing and measuring suspect parts
  • Lead inspection planning and ensure SLA and capacity targets are met
  • Develop and track performance metrics using tools like SAP and Power BI
  • Maintain calibration schedules and ensure audit readiness (ISO 9001, AS9100)
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and global quality alignment

  • Hands-on experience programming and operating Zeiss CMM (Mitutoyo/Hexagon is a plus)
  • Strong expertise in mechanical inspection and GD&T interpretation
  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent prioritization and decision-making skills under pressure
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Experience mentoring others or leading small teams is a plus
  • Knowledge of SPC, capability studies, and root cause analysis
