Aerotek - - Responsibilities: Perform structural welding, layout, and fitting of structural steel components and bridge girders; Interpret and understand complex blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications for structural steel and bridge projects; Identify steel shapes and accurately lay out and fit beams, columns, and girders, including weld sizes, piece marks, and direction marks; Use welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, overhead cranes, and measuring instruments to complete fitting and welding tasks safely and efficiently; Conduct thorough quality checks on completed work to verify accuracy, alignment, and compliance with project requirements and applicable codes
