  • Schedule: Full‑time, Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office weekly, including Wednesdays)

Who You Are: You are an experienced Litigation Paralegal Assistant who enjoys supporting busy attorneys and keeping complex litigation matters organized and on track. You bring a thoughtful, proactive approach to your work and are comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced legal environment.


You communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and take pride in supporting attorneys by anticipating needs, tracking obligations, and helping ensure filings and tasks move forward smoothly. You work well both independently and collaboratively and value being a reliable, steady presence on a litigation team.


Qualifications Include


  • 2+ years of experience supporting attorneys in a law firm setting, with litigation experience preferred in Medical Malpractice & Long Term Care Defense area.
  • Experience preparing, proofreading, and e‑filing pleadings and other litigation documents
  • Working knowledge of Oregon and Washington court rules and filing procedures
  • Strong skills in docketing, calendaring, and managing legal correspondence and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast‑paced environment
  • Comfort communicating regularly by email and phone with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems


What You'll Do: In this role, you'll support multiple litigation attorneys and serve as a key organizational resource for their caseloads. You'll play an important role in helping ensure deadlines are tracked, filings move forward efficiently, and attorneys are supported in managing the day‑to‑day demands of active litigation matters.


Responsibilities Include

  • Docket, track, and own litigation deadlines, ensuring timely filings across Oregon and Washington courts
  • Proactively follow up with attorneys to obtain drafts, approvals, and materials needed to meet deadlines
  • Maintain and manage attorney calendars with a focus on upcoming court obligations
  • Draft, format, proofread, and e‑file pleadings and litigation documents
  • Organize and maintain electronic case files and correspondence
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, and document organization
  • Communicate professionally with courts, opposing counsel, and clients
  • Serve as a dependable point of coordination in a fast‑moving litigation practice
  • Other duties as assigned
