The Tax Analyst IV is a senior level individual contributor responsible for federal and state compliance, and research for large nonprofit healthcare organizations. This role supports exempt and taxable entities, with a primary focus on nonprofit tax matters including Forms 990 and 990 T. The position partners closely with Tax Managers, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax filings and to support audits, planning initiatives, and special projects.
Will research and analyze tax issues affecting nonprofit and healthcare organizations, including unrelated business income, exempt organization rules, and state specific requirements, prepare clear, well supported memoranda summarizing technical conclusions and practical recommendations, monitor changes in federal, state, and local tax laws and assess impacts to the organization.
