SUMMARYMortenson is currently seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager I to lead and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects or MEP scopes on medium to large projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and safety, mentoring the project team, potentially overseeing multiple projects, and developing strong customer relationships through excellent service.RESPONSIBILITIESManage overall project financial health, including projections, budgeting, and invoicingOversee subcontractor and supplier selections, billings, and contract managementDirect 3-D coordination and commissioning processes, ensuring conflict resolution and testingLead project closeout activities, including manuals, model turnover, and trainingSupervise and develop Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s)Serve as main contact for owner, resolving site concerns and building relationshipsManage change orders and obtain necessary approvalsEnsure quality, risk, safety, and compliance throughout the projectQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field experienceBasic understanding of construction law and business practicesActive listening and effective communication skills, open to diverse input and feedbackAbility to travel up to 100%Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plansMinimum eight years construction management experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical ContractorCurrent driver's licenseA few benefits offered include:(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $144,300 MIN - $216,500 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
